Breeding Pair "SHOW WORHTY"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Where you live there are plenty of Flowerhorn/Red Texas so unless you had a $1000+ masterpiece breeding pair then you wouldn't make much money. Go with what ever you local area is in short supply or has a high demand off.

out here flowerhorns are not worth anything , but i dont see festae , beani, haitenis, no viejas, labridens , grammodes, or alot of other fish

Talk to Cichlid Connection and see what he has, might have a breeding pair from that list or at least some sub adults. Maybe he can give you some ideas. Everyone is trying to get in the Festae game lol.

yeah i know festae will soon be everywhere but i want the next big thing before everybody else

whats a fish that people want but cant get

yeah i know festae will soon be everywhere but i want the next big thing before everybody else

yeah theyll be everywhere for a short while then fade as not everyone can keep cichlids like they think they can. and not all festae are prolific like Jags lol so the festae craze will live on forever:ROFL::popcorn:

and as for the fish people want but cant get... well if they cant get them then bro niether can you, trust me the cichlid world isnt as big as you may think:) If you want to get something then try to get into your own collecting or try breeding cichlids that others have had problems breeding like micropthalamus and there are other fish as well that are rare, but they are rare for a reason bro. if you could pull something like that off you would be able to create competition and new bloodlines for whats out there plus help by keeping those hard to get's in the hobby. It takes Patients, Passion, Expirience and Money:)

haha so ima do 1 pair of festae and what other fish as a backup plan beani?

k m also thinking of doing a group of 6 yellow labridens as a breeding group, if 2 of them breed will they kill the rest of the group

Breed festae's and cuban cichlids! Lyonsi's are hard to find, try getting a pair of those? I'm gonna breed my Lyonsi's soon! Did you ever pick up that male Cuban on CL?

The only thing on your list that will consistantly sell is the festae. Everything else is either common or there's not much of a market for them. All of those fish are readily avialable. You don't see many of them because most people do not want to keep them.

The only real way to have high demand fish is to buy top quality pairs or fry and keep them. Fish get hot and cold very quickly. Something that is expensive at first is cheap in a matter of months. In a few years they are gone again and worth something agian. People have no pateince and trade fish every 3 months anymore. Get a great pair of fish and keep them throughout there life. At some point the fry will be worth some money and at other points you will not be able to give them away. Chasing the next great thing does nothing but cost you hundreds for fish and tons for shipping that you will never get back.
