What fish (ANY) do you think would look best in here?

What size tank is that? And what's in it now? That looks really nice!

Thanks! It's a 125. Right now, there's a JD, 4 Golden Labs, 2 Convicts, a Black Spotted Eel, a Chipokae, and a Frontosa. The reason I have CA/SA, and Africans mixed is because I planned on switching to CA/SA, but couldn't get all of the Africans out.

k well you could do a large school of clown loaches and some red/orange disc,us and a school of tetras,

I see you have a tough crowd there already, a large JD and some african cichlids... from a color stance I'd find something in the white or bight red/orange range, perhaps some more african cichlids. you'll get a lot of bashing for mixing the two. especially because of the varying diet requirements. so my best advice would be to also avoid anything that will be any more aggressive than the Jd and to avoid anything that needs a high protein diet in order to avoid malawi bloat with any of the africans.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I've gotten a lot of crap for mixing the two, but in alll honesty, I have had ZERO problems. I'm planning on starting fresh, so do you have any brand new suggestions?

Well I don't know the specifics of your tank, but from sheer size from the pics..a shoal of 8-12 would probably be best. And trust me you're gonna want a lot of the little guys if you end up doing it. Your tank looks at least 125 gal, so 12-ish. depending on how stocked you want your tank to look.

I REALLY want to do Discus, but they're just so dang expensive! I would then go and add a heck of a lot more plants. I hate most of my plants in there now, but I haven't had the time to grab some new ones.

find a discus breeder i can get 3 inchers for $15 each

Exactly, it's 125. I'd really like to do a piranha tank. Now, maybe you can clear this up for me. I've seen RBs grow fully and stay somewhat silver, and I've seen RBs grow fully and turn a blackish color. My LFS has a BEAUTIFUL RB show tank, and they're a brilliant black color with the bright orange/red belly. How do I make sure they turn darker as opposed to silver?
