What fish (ANY) do you think would look best in here?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would go with some large eartheaters, theres plenty of variety out there.and add a school of tetras

Since you already have cichlids. I would probably stay with the smaller size ones like firemouths, convicts, salvinis.

I'd do a North American native tank.

I'd sell the africans, keep the JD, and buy 3, 4-lined pims, and 3- normal pictus cats, get a pair of gold severums.

salvini would look good if u keep the cichlids, but im deffffinetly voting for piranha in that tank

If I can get a good price on some 4-5" RBP, I'll take them. Ball State, huh? I go to Holy Cross. I'm about 2 and a half hours north of you. I plan on either going to BSU my junior year, or DePaul, as I am studying Radio Broadcasting and Production.

Well whichever school you choose, good luck. They're both party schools for sure! Haha before yOu decide which school you attend you may want to know a bit about ball state... They will financially try to rape you here. It's ridiculous. The tickets for parking and whatnot are outrageous, and they're very easy to get. Leave your car for 3 minutes don't be surprised you have a piece of paper on your windshield. It kinda sucks. But the people are awesome, classes aren't rough, etc. And rbp are easy to get cheap. I've seen 6 inchers for 10 bucks. And babies for 4. Muuuuuch cheaper than discus for sure lol

I think I'm going to go with Discus. Although I REALLY want the RBP tank, I'd really like a variety. We'll see. If I can et a deal on a 75 gallon tank, I'll get a schoal of piranha.

Do you plan on changing your aquarium decore?, or does that depend on the fish you end up choosing? Lately I have been paying more attention to how long the fish will live. I would rather pay big $$$ for an interesting fish that will live longer, instead of spending the same amount of $$$ for some 'pretty' but boring fish that are picky eaters and will have a shorter life. Have you really made your choice?, or are you still 'flipping the coin'?

Definitely still flipping the coin. I'd be willing to switch my decor up a little bit, but not too much. What did you have in mind?
