Nice catch, personally i see nothing wrong with eating bass. They are very tasty fish, with white flaky meat.

22nd & 23rd I was only land one each day.....
24th was my night fishing adventure and we switchesd up it by going out "Carnegie". BAD decsion cause it was SLOW. I banged one on the popper before the sun went dark and Dennis missed a nice one on the "spinny". Once the skys were dark I didnt get a bite and Dennis landed a nice 2.6 and a 12'er. At day break we went to a small spot in Cranberry were I got a dink on the spinny.......
26th I banged 6 bass, 1 pickeral and 2 red breast sunnie all on the popper at the D&R canal(providence line rd)........
27th was a return trip back and I banged 3 bass, 1 small CP, and red breast sunnie. Everything was landed on the popper excapt two bass I got on the spinny !
28th(today) I banged 3 bass at Bakers basin, two on the popper and one with a ten inch.......
The night fishing trip really let me down........

5:28 am... time to roll out to get out on the water for sunrise, here's to hopin for some solid fish! perfect weather forecast lets see if it holds true. wish me luck!

i didnt catch a damn thing, that was without a doubt the most disappointing trip of the season for me. One about 2.5lbs got off on my 3rd cast and didnt have a single bite for the next 3 hours, saw at least 4 BIIIIG bass surface, but couldnt get em to bite anything. Uhg. the first time i've been skunked all year...
Well, I didn't catch anything at my cousin's place, but he landed a nice 2 Lber on a small Hula Popper, and that was it. Afterwards, he came to my house and we hit up with some nice Yellow Perch, and I pulled up a sweet .75 Lb Rock Bass, which is a little more that half a pound away from a state record. Sorry, forgot to take a picture of it.
What up fella's, far as me I'm in Raleigh,NC and today I got and hour and half to fish right before dark. I landed a nice high two pounder/ low three pounder and missed a little one !
