By that standard you may as well throw Nirvana in there as well... Kurt, Krist, and Dave all had long hair, and Kurt used to wear makeup.

I don't mind appearance much... I always saw glam metal as being pretty gimmicky, but just the sound of it, I always hated. Sounds so mainstream and pop... not exactly what heavy metal should be. Just my opinion.

No, Nirvana was grunge like u said, I obviously meant rock/metal. You're kind of describing aerosmith. They were gimmicky and poppy after the 80s

Cmon man I know you're not dumb. Every one of your posts in this thread is a troll job. You know exactly what I'm saying. You know what glam /hair 80's music is. You know aerosmith is in that category and you know damn well Nirvana isn't in that category. Grunge is influenced by rock and metal but it's in a class of it's own.

Let's get back to your original argument. Aerosmith is an 80's hair/glam metal band

Rock/metal music? Check
Hair? Check
Outfits like the pic I posted? Check
Make up? Check
Popular in the 80's? Check
