Gosh! So much drama? If I were you, just keep fishing and ignore the fisherman who kept breeder fish for dinner. You HAVE to remember that no one fishes like the way you do and they probably don't eat same way of yours. For example, some people eat walleyes but refused to eat bass or northern pike. Others ate largemouth bass while some of us prefer release them. Some people ate white bass, rock bass and bullheads while others won't eat them. Then theres some fisherman that won't eat fish. Heck you have people who is strictly catch and release! Some people have goals to catch a record-sized target species while others just fish for fun or for food. Some people kill roughfish for fun while others targetting and release the roughfish back. Europeans love to fishing for carps while most of us Americans don't. Some people use lures only while others prefer use live bait. Some people sucks at fishing while others are pro. Some people poaching while others following the laws. I have to fishing with these people and you know why? They are my good friends from the college as well as my family. No fisherman are excatly alike. I guess since you are older than me and you would understand that there are different kinds of fisherman but I was wrong.
Excatly, and he will expect the same responses in other fishing forums. My advice: just don't worry about other people's business and keep fishing.you put it well, it really seems like the op started a post asking for opinions and then took his ball...i mean pole, tucked it between his legs and went home when people shared their opinion that were not the same as his. Fishing is fishing, unless a serious law is being broken, i'm not sure why you'd get emotional about it. personally i'd rather he got off the waterway then be sitting in the shadows crying because my style of fishing doesn't match his
Oh well if you got your feelings hurt and going to leave because some people disagree with you then "Dont let the door hit you where the good Lord split ya"
