The nassa wouldn't touch the pellets once they hit bottom either but they learned to, once stuff stops comming down they now look at the bottom and get any missed pellets. Seems that because of their peditory nature they look ahead or up for food as they seem to lurk below pery and strike either straight ahead or in and upward motion. Every once in a while I feed them an earthworm or shrimp and krill I love to watch them open up thier mouths and suck it in so fast it's barely visable. Sombody on here had a vidio I thought, titled Snook vs Pellets it was a couple of years ago. Maybe we can find it.
