After suffering through a ridiculously long killing spree, I finally had to euthanize my 23" red belly pacu recently. It had killed 4 bala sharks, 2 LSN's, and finally my senegal bichir, which was one of my favorite fish, so my tire track eel would have probably been next on the list (and I was definitely not willing to risk that, which was why I finally decided that the only option was to euthanize it).
So now that I am down to only 3 fish, I am looking to restock my 225. This is my current setup:
Dimensions: 72 x 24 x 30in (183x61x76cm)
Stock:
~28" silver aro
18"gibby
17-18" TT eel
Filtration:
Rena XP4, Fluval FX5
Aeration:
Coralife SL-65 with 4 large disk-shaped air stones
Water Change Schedule: Generally as needed, but usually about 50-60% weekly.
What I was thinking of adding is:
1-2x striped raphael cat(s)
2x gold severums
3x adult (8-9") snakeskin gouramis
So, do you think this stocking would be okay, or is it overstocked? And also, if you think it is overstocked, what would you suggest?
