I like all of the ideas. And do you guys think an Emperor 400 would be too much for a 20 long? I have it as an extra filter and would rather not buy another one. My little top fin one broke.

I was also thinking a school of cories for the bottom and maybe some angels. Yeah?

No doubt it'll be planted, but those fish just don't interest me haha. Some tetras aren't bad.

German Ram, Bolivian Ram, Kribs are the most common dwarf cichlids...I would personally eithier do a planted dwarf cichlid tank with a school of tetras, a planted shrimp tank, or a planted dwarf puffer tank

if your planting it i would go with cherry shrimp..let them breed like crazy and use them as feeders^_^ or sell em...

I say a nice planted tank with Bolivian rams and a school of tetras (whichever you prefer)
OR...
you could do a breeding pair of cons as mentioned before
