Justin, I remember going over to your house when this thing was completely empty, all the weekends and trips to home depot for supplies and all the changes that has gone on in our hobbies and lives in the time it took to get this beast running...
Gotta say, it looks a lot better full of water than it did on your garage floor while we scrambled with the garage door so your landlord wouldn't see it!
Can't wait for the MFK meet next weekend, hopefully I get to see this dovii in person finally.
Oh, and it's really weird/cool to see that beast piece of wood in there! Glad it didn't go to waste sitting on my porch forever.
Hopefully it decides to stop being magic and sinks soon!![]()
The tank is looking really, really nice. It looks like it belongs in a zoo or public aquarium. Beautiful.
HOWEVER - It's not really a full-tank-shot, is it? You cut a foot or so off each end...![]()
Nice looking tank, I like the light setup as well.
You have a great aquascaping skills.
I'm always impressed with your tanks, Justin. You really have a talent of Aquascaping. The Dovii is incredible! I have a few similar silk plants that I purchased from Hobby Lobby very cheap. It's funny how the same fake plants are sold at pet stores for double or triple the price. They do seem to hold algae which my smaller fish and fry love to graze on. Keep up the excellent work. I hope you'll have a build thread for the Festae tank.
Nice... It looks natural... Your tank and Dovii are beautiful![]()
