if i wasn't told that one is a midas and the others were sag's, i would have guessed all midas. what are some tell tale signs and differences that I should look for? Even looking at the pic's, i just dont see enough difference![]()

The first midas does have a long face but he is getting bigger and it seems to be going away... he has a really tall body which labitums don't get...Really? I'd have guessed red devil on the first fish if I didn't know different. The sagittae definitely looks sagittae though.![]()

Thanks he is a stunner but the new midas is not far behindI really like the first male on the first page. He looks like a real stunner.
This has also been my expierence with midas and xiloaensis.....Right..the face is definitely the reason I said that but I know when smaller the shape of face of a midas can very much resemble that of labiatum..in fact that's the case with all from the red devil complex that I've kept. The mouth starts out longer but then on Midas and xilo's it shortens as the fish bulk up.![]()
