Citrinellums and Sagittae

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if i wasn't told that one is a midas and the others were sag's, i would have guessed all midas. what are some tell tale signs and differences that I should look for? Even looking at the pic's, i just dont see enough difference

Really? I'd have guessed red devil on the first fish if I didn't know different. The sagittae definitely looks sagittae though. :)

I really like the first male on the first page. He looks like a real stunner.

Thanks bro..

thank you

The first midas does have a long face but he is getting bigger and it seems to be going away... he has a really tall body which labitums don't get...

Right..the face is definitely the reason I said that but I know when smaller the shape of face of a midas can very much resemble that of labiatum..in fact that's the case with all from the red devil complex that I've kept. The mouth starts out longer but then on Midas and xilo's it shortens as the fish bulk up. :)

This has also been my expierence with midas and xiloaensis.....

this guys hump is getting rather large... I leave home and come back to find it larger..... His hump is already bigger than the other midas.... Looks like I really scored with this guy....
