nice catch dreams. planning an overnighter to our states largest lake thats widely considered the best catfish water in the state this weekend.

good catch man, im hoping to catch a few that size some time this week, customer at work offered to take me fishin at his lake house said they catch good fish out there a lot
man.. i went out to johnson tonight to try catfishin... 2 small bites and a snappin turtle, but DAMN man, when u come back down we gotta night fish... fish surfacing EVERYWHERE (i'm assuming baitfish and crappie) but there were some surfacing bass mixed in
thread is fallin down a little im disapointed... went two nights in a row thursday and friday but not a ton to show for it, caught one channel around 1lb and missed a couple good hits, im rusty on my catfishing skills 
went to our states largest lake and really wasnt impressed. I had researched several areas to fish, with a few not even looking like good catfish habitat. The lake was immense and difficult to convince myself that I was in a good spot. I had one very nice run on a bluegill and as I reeled in the slack (using a circle hook) it was just gone. Hit one last spot on the way back to the ramp and saved a skunk on the cats with this 6 pound flat.
