These two guys are doing awesome. They are growing nicely and getting fat. The kelberi is finally getting some nice spangling on the anal fin too. I'm hoping to get a couple of mono's again to join these. I really miss my old mono's.

Hey I've just read the first post in this thread again. One year on and it turns out I did find some nice monos to go with these guys. That's what I call a happy ending.

Looking good Tim!! Your pinima doesn't show spots at all does he? How big is he now? I'd say mine is between 18-20". And that is a beast mono!!

Yes his spots have gone all together now. He's not as big as yours, I'd say he's 16-17". That's why I was surprised he still had his spots. The mono is a beast 18" and really chunky, with a huge head.
What other cichla do you keep?
