Channel Cat, Or Bullhead Catfish?

100% channel, no matter what anyone thinks bullheads 99% of the time do not reach that size.

Have you ever seen an adult channel? They look a bit different. The forked tail is the biggest giveaway. You can really tell from the original pics, but channels have a forked tail and bullheads have a rounded one. It's quite obvious in koyote's pics

yes i have. i have 4 adult at 25+ inches in my pond. lol just to me the one the ops has in his pic looks differant then the ones i have. But you do make a good point about the tails being forked.

channels down here in my parts look different than that too but i guess its just what environment there in. its easy to tell its still a channel though, i think we can all agree with the forked tail
