Pool sand is the way to go My buddy has it and it doesnt get into his filters i am gonna be switching tothe pool sand and i would do a wld caught oscar fire mouths and a pleco or a striped raphael cat fish are cool too

My stock is going to be : a(n) Oscar, Gold Severum , 2-3 Cons and a pleco

Unless that tank is WAY over filtered (like 20x turnover HOB or a large sump/canister system) thats WAY too many fish (full grown) for a 90 gallon tank, especially considering 1 is an oscar. Also, if the cons arent all the same sex, chances are you will have a con pair take over the whole tank and keep everyone hiding once they spawn.

Ditch the severum or the cons and if you MUST get a pleco, get one that doesn't get bigger than 4-5 inches.

i ended up getting the albino Oscar, it was the last one in the store lol i will post picks later and yeah the tank will be massively filtered. the stock is a Gold Severum , one male con , the O and i took VRWC's advice and got a 3 inch BN pleco i think they max at 5-6 inches. i also have about 6 months until the oscars gets huge so thats plenty of time to get my 135 gal from my old house.

Thanks once again to everyone who helped out !

when i have feed him will he grow quicker ? or is it bad for him ? i heard that there pigsss lol so i think its hard to 'ovefeed' and Oscar

you said fish not cichlids so I'm going to go with pacu's, Convicts, Salvini's, and a group of barbs.
A Pacu gets way too big for a 90gal by itself. Add an Oscar and multiple tankmates and things get considerably worse.

Feed the Oscar a good pellet 2-3x a day only enough at a time that it will eat, keep up with water changes and you should be fine. There's no need to feed it every time it approaches the glass. I think that's when people run into overfeeding problems.
