All RTG(classic) have 4th level shine. Any RTG that has shine higher than 4th level is considered HBRTG (XBxRTG). Those HBRTG with good XB genes might have 6th level shine. In market terms, they are different due to shine level is higher than a normal classic RTG. Overall they are all classified as Scleropages aureus . I've never seen an HBRTG(RTG) with shine crossed. I've seen a few at 6th level shine, but wouldn't you consider something with 6th level shine an XB?

nowadays most of the RTG's today are produced thru selective breeding, i saw a merlion gold (HBRTG x XB) at 8 inches they already have gold specks on the 6th level.. give it another two years it has the chances to cross..

um

if the shine crosses

im pretty sure you call that

a "cross back"

;)

and sir, malaysian golds (XB) have their full crossing at a very young age (esp: golden heads) while some premium grade and good quality HBRTG have their full crossing at adulthood, and on how you groom them sir..;)

Wouldn't you consider a Merlion gold, XB? It would have more XB genes than RTG by now. Since it's (XBxRTG)x(XB). Most people I know who have RTG that have 6th level shine, just say it's an XB. Do you mind showing me an RTG that has shines crossing?

Merlion Gold premium are the ones they sold as XB, however Merlion Golds are the ones they sold as RTG.

Some RTG's have 6th level shine, some HBRTG's have their 6th level cross. http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=328431&page=3
