hey mma fans

just wanna see what you guys think.

What are the worse robbery decisions you guys have ever seen?

I gotta say the 2 worse that comes to my mind is Randy Couture vs Pedro Rizzo 1 and Lyoto Machida vs Shogun 1. Since I'm a gomi fan, another robbery that sticks to me is Takanori Gomi vs Sergey Golyaev

Sad to see Hammill go. As far as worse robbery decisions I think the first Shogun-Machida was just to close and to beat a champ you have to BEAT the champ. I forgot what other fight it was now but Cecil Pepols (spelling) has really screwed some up. I remember him when he judged boxing and he was horrible then too.

it was competative, but not close. no way did shogun lose. he beat machida at least 4 rounds. i'm a huge fan of both guys and i love machida but there was an injustice that day when they announced the winner

cecil peoples should not be allowed to be a judge. he should judge like an eating contest or something. hard to screw up who downed more hotdogs

I still wouldn't trust him to judge those competitions but your getting close, he would probably do great in the food industry, eventually, "would you like fries with that?"

i think junior and cain would both wreck him

about tonights fight, i won't be ordering it. the whole card is decent but i'm not jumping up and down for it

i am rooting for tito though
problem is we haven't seen Overeem against anyone like them. I think Cain would have a much better chance because of his wrestling. JDS we really don't know too much about his ground game. He has amazing striking, but I just can't see him beating a K1 champion on his feet. BS reasons UFC released all the Golden Glory people.

Golden Glory might be able to fight in SF or the UFC there is a lot of talk going on right now. Chris Lytle put on a clinic against Hardy and Ben Henderson should get a title shot if he gets another win like last night.

which is why i haven't jumped on that bandwagon. i like overeem, i've liked him since pride, but from what I've seen I can't say that he'd beat anyone from the UFC. he hasn't lost since '07, but if you look at his competition, how can you say he'd run thru the UFC's heavyweights? Especially after how he looked in his last fight. I think his biggest hole in his game is his cardio. Both Cain and Junior has proven they have great cardio and I think Overeem's best chance against them would be to get an early ko, if it goes passed 2nd round, I believe he will be the one ending up getting knocked out

and about golden glory, from what Dana has said, they don't do business the way golden glory does. golden glory is not only a fight camp, they are a promotion. they get paid, then they pay the fighters. Dana says, according to the athletic commissions here, they can't do that, they pay the fighters directly. I didn't look further into it, but if that's the case, i understand why the UFC did that. I haven't looked into it since then so I dont' know what else has been said and done. one good thing is that in a recent interview, Overeem still shows interest in fighting in the UFC

and about last night's card, MAN!!!!! that was a great show from start to finish. Here's my thoughts on each fight:

I was really happy about Ben Henderson's win. No one has dominated Miller in that way and I'm glad ben proved he is a true elite. I mean, he was getting a lot of criticism for fighting less competion in the WEC (pretty much all the top guys from WEC was) and especially since he lost to Pettis. But he beat the crap out of Miller and made a statement. Miller was gonna be the next guy to get the title shot. If he had beaten Henderson last night, he would've gotten the winner of Edgar/Maynard. But that was an awesome fight, Miller was going for subs left and right, it was a great display of grappling by both guys. but eventually the punishment was taking it's toll and Ben started pulling away with the fight. In my opinion it was 30-27, maybe 30-26. Officially it was 30-27, 30-26 and 29-28. The judge that gave miller 1 round was on crack.

I feel bad for Charles Oliviera, I think he's a great prospect, he made a huge splash in his debut and had a second great fight against escudero, but that was kind of his curse. I think he's not quite ready to be put against all these top fighters. He needs to fight lesser competition and build some more experience first. But because there was a lot of hype around him, they kind of threw him in with the wolves, now he's got 2 losses in a row not counting the NC against Lentz.

I was very entertained with the Ludwig/Sadollah fight. One thing I hate is when the commentators are overly biased. They love Amir, and that's fine too, but I felt they were a bit too biased. What won the fight for Ludwig was not his striking. Well, it did, but what was more important was his take down defense. That's what truly won him the fight. He was able to keep the fight standing and that's what allowed him to utilize his superior striking.

The main event was awesome. I think both guys left it all in the ring and I'm glad Lytle got the win, not only a win but a stoppage. He was a great fighter, a classy guy and I'm glad he is happy. Great last fight for him. I heard the judges had Lytle winning the fight but I thought Hardy won at least one round. First two was close with Hardy landing the harder shot and he's the only one that was able to hurt the other guy. He clocked and wobbled Lytle a couple of times. Third round was more decisive, I think Lytle was winning that round before the sub. Dan is on a 4 fight losing streak but one of the Fertittas already said he's not getting cut. I'm glad because how do you cut someone after a fight like that?
