Oscars: Slimy and disgusting. I fish in S. Florida, and when one hits my line, I know I am going to have to wash my hands thoroughly. Never seen anything like it, just oozing with slime.
And the waste! For those who've never owned one, do this: Take a dump in your tank once a week, there! You have just replicated the Oscar experience!

As for the non hybrids, I dislike chocolate cichlids and true parrot cichlids (Hoplarchus Psittacus). As for the hybrids, I really dislike parrot cichlids. I can see the appeal in most cichlids, even the ones I'm not fond of like the chocolate and true parrot but I really just don't see any appeal in jelly bean parrots. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't like any of the man made short-boddied fish.
