Looks good. Is the wall temporary? Did you fasten the studs to existing ones? What about the sill plate? Is it redheaded to the concrete slab? Just curious why you did the framing the way you did.

Yes the studs are mated with the existing studs and floor hoist. The wall will only support the weight of the rock and the flag and 2 deer heads. No weight from the tank. Its more for looks than anything
 
Looking good. The idea of an overflow is to keep surface clean and moving, but it's also good to keep water level at a constant, you will have a really tough time getting output from the fx5 to match your pump output, and as the fx5 get dirty and flow is reduced you will need to adjust your pump. I'd say it would be pretty much impossible
 
Btw looking good, I have the same spray bar running the length of my tank nd love it, just wish I made smaller holes
