Hey Everybody,

In 2 hours I'll be watching the second show of "Tanked" as I had work till 11 and missed it. Whats everyone's view on it? I really enjoyed the first episode. Thier creativity on the making of aquariums is very interesting. I hope they are successful in the television business. I've been on thier site numerous times dreaming of purchasing thier acrylic tanks months ago and was satisfied with the customer service.

What do you guys think about this show?

I like to watch it some of the tanks they build are very cool the amount of money people spend on them is crazy. I have noticed they use tap water when filling the tanks which I was told was not good.

tap isnt necessarily bad... depends on the source. I.E. some city waters have Chlorine, some shallow wells have iron deposits and pollutants... Deep wells are pretty descent hard water which in saltwater and African Cichlids is good. But in Vegas... I dunno... does sound... not so good... especially the Ice from the hotel... in the Mob exibit episode.

Back to the topic... my bad... Its got its good and bad points, good for creativity, beautiful fish, and humor. Bad for showing people the wrong way to set up a tank. Not saying that they ARE wrong, but they NEVER mention cycling AT ALL, what equipment they use to run the tanks, OR FISH COMPATIBLITY and OVERSTOCKING... seriously like 30 damsels in that one tank with only up and down swimming area along with GOD KNOWS how many other fish... I lost count.

What there doing could be possible for the well experienced hobbyist, but I'm willing to bet the rest of the money I make for the rest of my life, that there'll be that ONE jackass out there is going to try his own DIY like they do and kill perfectly good fish.

GOD I HOPE NOT THOUGH

I just saw both ep's lastnite - was very interesting . However I too was wondering how you stuff 50 fish into a tank you just filled. Best I can figure - with that kinda money - they gotta huge tank full of aquacultured rock, cycled, and ready for fish probably a large sump hidden under the tank. The Achilles was awesome.

LoL yeah there is currently about a dozen other threads regarding this subject. Haven't caught the show yet myself, but looking forward to it.

I like it.. Although like previously said, they could be more informational.. I personally think all the decorations and themes are tacky, but that's what most people are into... makes money..

I agres with the decorations, personally if you're gonna spend your money for it, I'd get the "real thing" meaning live coral, and rock..

so far its a pretty good show, they make it seem pretty fun and interesting to watch. I really like the different tanks they do for people. However, it'd be nice if they could broaden their knowledge to us about the fish and such...

AND they should do some freshwater setups!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the show is all about creativity/humor/drama...which is ok The only thing that is annoying when they showed some marine fish like the naso tang at the end of the shows with ick...

However I will watch every friday's night episode because it's just plan awesome.... exotic reef imports here I come!

I liked the show but they never mention the the maintence involved nor any information about the filtration. It seem their clients have more money they can possibly spend.

I like the show very much.I have work with Mr. King in the past and Wade was nice like you see on their show. ATM built me a 15,000 gallon freshwater tank.I am pleased how it turned out.
