he comes straight to the front of the tank the moment you are near it, he is striking the glass he only does this when she is on the eggs, look mate I'm not bragging just simply putting pics that i would think some people might be interested in, most of these fry will be food for my community tank and i"ll keep one maybe two good fish for my self out of interest, in australia we don't allow hybrids in our blood lines, not any of us that care any way. Be it hybrid be it immaculate conception the JD Layed Eggs, there was Fry, The GT was the only other fish in the tank moving the fry with his mouth............i dont know i'm no expert but if a predetory fish takes fry in its mouth and doesn't eat it, you could fairly assume that its his fry!!!!
 
well my breeder assures me it is i have had these conversations with him when it first happened, but he assures me it is, the pics don't really show her colours she has amazing blues right through her body and through her fins i know thats not the only charecteristics of a jack but she has a jack body shape, head shape and the fuller fins than the blue accaras, i'll try and get a better photo at some stage she isn't going to leave her cave while those eggs are in the tank but i will get them out tomorrow when i do a water change, don't want more fry
 
you think its a gt???? well i"ll get them to my local store and enter them into australia blood lines for ever bah dont think so it may not be a JD, but its as much a GT as its a manta ray!!
 
Dude. Stop. Its a GT. This is how a female JD looks like. Obviously your female looks nothing like this. Mystery solved, GT + GT = Fry.
