Which Stock did your gar eat?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
never had my gars eat any fish not intended to or as a a matter of fact i have never had any of my gars even attack any of my fish, they have been with fishes with great size difference but still not bothered to eat them.

OK.... Just a moment need to digest last post.

Sure...
Last one and about the only one in some years (Aside from Larval stage issues) Gator ate a FLG nearly the same size.. My fault on that one really as I should have expected it.

yeah, my response to screamin's post is more or less "um....ok?"

And the winner for most bizarre post in MFK history goes to...

Stingrays, African aro, giant freshwater goby, smaller gar, all dead.

Black arowana, beat up bad but moved to another tank and recovered.

Now the only fish that I co-hab with the 'unholy 10' are the australian lungfish and anguilla eel -- both are good tankmates.

wow :jaw: who was the murderer? which gar? Am trying to find some bottom dweller's which i an com with my gars. any idea's other than ray's and bichir's?

No specific gar was the culprit from what I saw. I have an aggressive bunch.

No deaths.. other then feeders....but a few mangleings.... my florida manageled a silver arrow more then once when I tried co-habbing these fish... atm pretty sure my cuban is starting to mangle a smaller spiney eel ( who will be relocated asap)... my Floridas in general are pretty chill.. my Cuban is getting more and more aggro as it gets bigger ( not un-surprizing) Like Sol said.. the sticky has helped me avoid trying to add certain fish and "try" others... prolly saved me some $$$ and a few fishy lives.

Mark!

How did the endli and pbb got eaten?
