I've noticed...interesting how there's so much talk about helping the poor and less fortunate in religion yet some of the most grotesque displays of extravagance can be found at places of worship.

The church aquarium makes me sick to my stomach. The pasture says every church should at least have a fish bowl? Really? Really??? The money spent on that massive tank could have saved a lot of lives of people who are starving but nope, we gotta use it to send a message with a massive tank. That's a sick joke. The show itself on the other hand sounds totally scripted but it's silly, it's pretty fun to watch, I like it. I understand it's TV but I wish they'd give a tad more accurate info on how to care for fish and set up tanks. I guarantee a decent number of the people who come in to the shop I work at are somewhat mislead from the get go from shows like this.
i do not like the show at all...its fun to watch just to see the tanks once done but the building up to it and stuff is not entertaining wife is hot thow =D lol
When I watched them build the cross for the church tank out of cheap pressboard I wasn't too impressed - couldn't they have used synthetic lumber or at least marine plywood? The fact that the ugly-as-sin piece of junk wouldn't sink makes them look ignorant and incompetent. I won't be tuning in again any time soon...
PASTURE is where you keep cows, sheep, goats and horses. A PASTOR is the leader of a church. Getting your words right gives you a better foot to stand on when talking about others.
I don't think it's waste of money, it's being used as a teaching tool. If that is a waste, let's end the pet trade all together and zoos and aqauriums as well. Think of all the people we could save if we spent our fish money on the homeless. Shoe doesn't fit the other foot too well does it?
