After a whole lot of cleaning up, this thread isn't worth keeping open as it will just keep getting worst. To the OP; we are passionate fish keepers that want the best for our fish. If your roomie doesn't grasp the concept that an Arowana needs a bigger tank, then as his roomie, you should try to get him to return it and get something that will fit in the proper size tank. I suggest an African Butterfly as it's the closest related/looking fish to an Arowana. And they don't get nearly as big as a Silver Arowana.
