guess all i had to do was unclick that reference locally button. so here they are, i should mention i dress up for work (suit and tie) so my watch collection reflects that. the last one was a going away present for a promotion

That black Bulova isn't too bad. The others are a little too shiny, maybe if it was like a matte finish. And no-go on the yellow gold, can't do that at all :D

When you are going places in a suit or dressing up a nice watch is a must. Men dont wear jewelry normally and thus a watch is out statement piece. If you are going to spend the money on one then I normally recommend one to spend on something that is semi flashy and a nice look for making that impression. For everyday I dont always wear a watch or I throw on a cheaper $100 fossil watch so if I bump into something there is no big loss if I scratch it or whatnot...

I agree. I just hate yellow gold with a passion, and don't like shiny metals. Matte or flat finishes is where it's at :)

I prefer digital watches but some of these are cool looking. I like to see the time with ease at night as well as daylight. I bet most of those don't have a decent light.

I had a unique watch once where the black was still 'higher' then the gray but the gray was the 'cut out'. In normal digital watches gray is the background with the black sticking out.

that's what i do for everyday wear, got some cheapies.

Yeah I have an old Kenneth Cole that's gone through hell and back, it's what I wear on a daily basis. Now I want something a little nicer. On second thought, I probably won't wear this new watch to work to avoid from beating the crap out of it.

I do not diagree with yellow gold at all. I rarely see any being worn right now save for older watches people still have. White gold, titanium, silver, ect are the look right now for the most part. There are silver looks that are not "blingy" in that they are not shiny per say. Not matte either but close. My Citizen would fit into this class as the one I have with the silver band is not shiny but maintain s the look needed when worn with certain suits.

Warborg - My ecodrive has a small digital display with the date and time. It has its own light that can be lit at night though the hands also glow so I get the best of both worlds. Digital is nice in the sense of ease to read but if you are going to get a nice watch then one is foolish to spend that money as for an impression piece analog is the look people prefer. It gives a different air of class around it then digital.

That said I do have a few digital watches that I spent some serious coin on since I just liked the look but I would never wear other then as a common day watch. Still I prefer my even cheaper Fossil watches for everyday wear.

After all this talk I am mad at myself for not having a watch on right now... lol
