I didnt ask for any advice......:screwy:

Really? You make a quote like below for what reason then? The update of 7 days of failure is for? Sounds like someone seeking help to me.

I'm trying to get my Aro on Hikari sticks but no luck!

The post is about Aro foods....I commented on something I tried. If I was asking for help or advice I would have started my own thread and asked. It was just a comment. I'll be sure to only look from now on. :screwy:

Apparently there can be issues with digestion of chiton, at least in puffers.

Mzhantsche, I'm not sure how easy it would be to culture grasshoppers (though someone earlier was doing locust). Might be easier to try another big herbivorous/omnivorous invertebrate like one of the giant cockroach species.

Dubia roach (Blaptica dubia) are easy to keep and they are big up to 2in. Can't climp glass or plastic container so it's a plus. Minimal smell and eat anything. I have a few hundreds of them and can feed my aro (couple roaches every other day or so) for a long time as they also have babies if keep them warm.

i also have a small colony of blaptica dubia. my aro loves them but i only feed them now as a treat, usually an excess male in the colony. not yet tried grasshopper...

Feeding my aro gutloaded crickets then will start a colony of dubias (just a matter of convincing my wife to let me get th roaches).
