actually i'm pretty sure they did say Quin was second. not sure if i can hunt it down now, there's been 20 million tebow articles in the last 12 hours

It's always been Fox's position that there was no distinct #2 or #3. Since this years rule change doesn't require to list an emergency QB. I think most media here assumed Quinn to be #2 because of slated playing time in the preseason. This may have been true until Quinn's performance in the 4th preseason game.

I have a feeling that after week 10 or 11 you'll see Quinn inserted as the starter. This is, of coarse, assuming that Tebow doesn't run off 3 or 4 wins up until that time.

either way it doesn't really matter. tebow is the starter, some of us are surprised because some of the comments and impression given from the head coach and front office made it appear quinn was next in line. based on that, it clearly looks like they gave into public pressure.

if tebow is sucking come week 11, there's prob no reason to switch to quinn, just keep it goin for the suck for luck sweepstake

I would think the reason for playing quinn would be to help decide if they would offer a new contract.

it'll be interesting to see what teams do that are in still contention for that #1 pick the last few weeks of the season.

this whole thing could be interesting. this whole tebow debate is bigger then football.

check out 6 minutes in. this clip has stuck in my head since it aired. doesn't that alienate fans of a different faith?

Tebow pushing the message he believes in is really no different then any other athlete pushing any of their messages, whether it be Nike, Coke or any of the other billion products or groups that are promoted.

except pushing nike or coke or viagara isn't the same as telling people they're going to hell? it'd be like saying if you drink mountain dew or wear adidas or use levitra you're going to hell

Is there a proven existence of Hell? If one were to believe there is then that individual probably need pay closer attention to such message. Tebow believes there is a hell, hell is bad he is trying to save as many people as he can from what he believes is bad. So how is this a bad thing? Yes it may be offensive to some, but you tell a pot head that drugs are going to ruin his life and he may also be offended.

Really I don't see much a difference in what the message being pushed is. They all are using their stature obtain for being a pro athlete, whether their compensation is big bucks or promotion of their personal beliefs.

lol, i dont' want to get hardcore into religion, i just wonder how fans of the team that are of other religion or say.....they're homsexual will react. it's a pretty hardcore message.

Anyways, cowboys vs patriots is the match up i'm most looking forward to this weekend
