Deer season is starting, anyone got one yet? My dad dropped a nice forky. I usually dont go till rifle so I havnt gone yet but I got the itch!!

I got a doe, and my dad got a button buck. I'm on the lookout for big bucks since some of the biggest bucks in the state are from the woods and fields around my house. Time to make some ramen; deer always seem to pop up when I make it.
I haven't hunted since my accident ( have a bad back condition ) but I do miss it alot , being out in the woods, listening to nature , watching the sunrise top the trees ..... ahhh good times , I am thinking about doing some research I heard that some states have special hunts for people with disabilities .
I did see a monster buck he was at least an 8 pointer his rack stuck out a few inches wider then his ears !! he was in a feild about 150 yards off the gravel road I stoped and watched him for a good 10 minutes before he went back into the woods and the funny thing is he was in the city limits !!!! he was a trophy buck for sure but I just glad to have a buck like that around to pass on his gentics

My dad got a nice 10 point today; he said that there was an even bigger buck with that one, but he couldn't get a shot on the nicer of the two. Pictures to come later tonight.
I got a doe last weekend, first deer with a Xbow. Going up north again this weekend. Just gave my brother a new Xbow for a surprise bday gift and surprised him with the weekend too. Pumped up. Love hunting in archery season. Should've done this years ago.
Ya, crossbows are great; this is my dad and I's first year for archery, and we're using a crossbow.

We haven't taken measurements yet, but I'll post them when we get around to it. I'm going to try to get his much bigger buddy tomorrow evening; hopefully luck will be on my side this time. The funny thing is that his bigger buddy was watching us from on top of the hill we were on while we took away this one; unfortunately it was dark by the time that we found this one, so I couldn't attempt to get the other one.
