ICK and how to treat!

Hello all, simple question on treating a tank with Ick. I have several fish with ick after introducing a tea cup and am unsure if I can treat the tank with the new arrival. Any suggestions?

aquarium salt and increase the temp =]

increase your tank temp about 1 -2 degrees a day till you reach 89. also do daily 50% water changes.

If the salt and temp doesn't work...use esha exit..it is ray safe...

You also need to worry about why you have this....generally it is caused by poor water quality or stress.

just had the same problem. i have very good water quality but i think it might have been in the water i got a few dozen of shrimp from. added salt and rasied temp slowly to 80. playing the waiting game now if i dont see it getting better i will turn to medication in slow doses.

What are the other types of fish you have? formalin is ray safe.
