Aparently freezing lambs heart, then crushing it with a pestal and mortar then re freezing it into small cubes and feeding to your fish enhances colour. Just wanted some expert advice as my local lfs are idiots.

Why not just go will color bit? Why go threw all the bloods and hazmat deal? No nvr heard and to much time consume I would think.

Fish food is scientifically designed to be all your fish needs to be its best. Definitely not worth the effort.

Discus breeders have been feeding beef heart to their fish for years. I don't see why lamb heart wouldn't work. Just make sure you remove the fat and veins.

I do give them fish food, but if it had amazing results then of course i would consider it. To be honest my fish seem to be rich in colour anyway, whats colour bit? im from England and some products that people go on about on this forum i just do not see :(

I hear mixed reviews of fish food. If you are talking about pellet and flake food you typically get lost of ash in that type, while not bad it definitely doesn't do anything for your fish.

Preparing different foods for your fish can be extremely beneficial. If you look at most studies you'll find that processed foods and vitamins are not a supplement for natural ingestion of fruits, veggies and certain meats(in humans). I would imagine fish are similar.

Frozen is better than flake/pellet/processed and fresh/live is better than frozen.

Frozen food being better than pellets? OKAY.
