Man, you are dropping some coin...everything is top notch. Where did you get those lights?
Looks like the air pump is blowing pretty good. Is it louder than the reeflo dart pump? Would you recommend it (the air pump) to a lunatic who has tank similar to yours?
Yes, I made a lot of my purchases while I was waiting for the tank to arrive. I had time to sit down and research items and ask a million question about itmes I wanted to have. So becasue it took so long for the tank to actually show up, it gave me time to buy things one at a time while not really breaking the bank trying to get it all at once.
So on that note waiting for the tanlk was a plus.
As for the air pump, I would not say its silent, but quiet would be a better word. In fact its so strong, you hear the air bubbles from the top of the tank over the pump itself.
I can't even hear the dart pump, its nice. What i hear from my system is the water moving into the over flow and the bubbles from the airpump. So there is sound but not annoying loud noise all over the house, however once I get some panels around this setup I don't think I will hear much of anything.
Yes I would recommend the pump to anyone, seems to be constructed well and is very strong, so far so good. There was a smaller one that the guy said was even quieter that could push two of those airstone with just as much force, but I opted to go one step higher for three airstones since the tank is ten feet long to really get good circulation in the whole tank, plus it was on sale at the time. Not to mention I have the airpump on a three way valve to reduce the pressure if needed or if I just want to run two instead of three, pretty neet system.
