Pond/tank build 15 feet by 3 feet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hope your plan for the taking care of that GE II works out. I'd hate for anything to leech into the water. Looks great, can't wait to see it full with it's inhabitants happily swimming along.

The amount of silicone in the tank is so small even if I did not do anything it would not hurt. I did scrape it off and put some aquarium safe silicone over the top. I water tested it last night and found a small leak in one of the windows. It took almost an hour for it to start. I have it fixed now and waiting for silicone to cure to try again.

Good to hear the silicone won't be an issue. :nilly:

Now let's see some pics of it with water!!! :headbang2

Water is in it now with now leaks. Working on Plumbing tonight and hope to have it heating and recirculating tonight. Will have to get finished pics up soon

Here are some pics taken today. It has been running and heating for about 15 hours and the temp went from 56 degrees to 79 degrees which I do not think is too bad considering it is 750 gallons. There are two inlet pipes because one is coming straight off of the filter and the other comes off the filter to the heater then to the tank. I did it this way so I can control the flow to the heater so I can maximize the heating of the water. I still have to tidy up some of the wiring.
