Pond/tank build 15 feet by 3 feet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used 2 layers of mat in the corners. Did the first let cure then did the second, after it cured I put another top coat of resin. I used Polyester resin and it said it fully cured in 2 hours but I waited a couple of days before doing the epoxy. I did not sand between resin coats but did sand between the resin and epoxy. I used sweetwater epoxy which you have a 4-10 hour window to do the second coat without sanding.

very nicely done Mike!!!!!!!!

Up here in the Peanut Gallery it looks really great!

Very nice. Any more progress? Pics?

Will try to get some up tomorrow, I have the lids on and started the filtration. I am just waiting for the viewing windows to show up so I can water test it.

Some more updated pics. Have to give a special thanks to my brother who wired up the electrical box which houses the plc temp controller, relays, light timer, and outlets for the heater, pumps, and lights. The side pic is of the control box, bio reactor, drip system, and 1500 watt heater. The last pic shows the start of the exhaust system which will be run on a speed controller so I can control the amount of air pulled from the enclosed tank.
