You guys need to stop arguing. I just wanted to know your opinion. Everybody here has good points and knows about fish keeping and arguing won't prove that

I personally don't think so. Yes it can survive and live in it. But you have to understand how crappy of a life it would be. I would say at the least 55 gallons maybe even 75 gallon.

Wild oscars and captive oscars are the same fish. They have not been bred for traits of being smaller, nor vegetarian. The dietary needs of a captive oscar are essentially the same as a wild oscar.
