This is the one for the 300 in my sig. Much more detailed in the thread itself, but this will give you an idea.
@JC1119 - Are those boxes attached to your return pump something you DIY'd or something available for that specific pump?
I like it. I cant make out what the last photo is. But what is that your useing to hold your filter pad and bio?heres one of mine.
How many GPH pump are you useing?

I need to make a new over tank mechanical filter for a very heavy load. useing A mag1800
I'm thinking about a kitchen trash can with the drain hole very low or on bottom. Also thanking about using the foam from a couch cushion and stacking about 20 inches thick.
Yes I gussing it will look getto but I will probable going to make a box for the can to get rid of the getto look< LOL.
Im using a under gravel plate i made so the bio will be in the tank.

They are Tetra pond boxes. They come with adapters to fit just about any kind of pump. Cost about 25 bucks and a pretty cool way to make sure the water moves through the bio. plus they have sponges inside the boxes as well
