Cichla + Potamotrygon Tank : I need your help in conception

I thought about it... there's a BUT ! If I should count on a vermiculture for feeding my fishes, I should start at least 3 pieces of it to be efficient enough in terms of quantity... I had one when the 1,600 liters "Xingu" was on... but with "only" 7 Retroculus xinguensis one vermiculture wasn't enough...

imagine with 4 Silver arowanas, 7 Cichla kelberi, 15 Myleus schomburgkii, 3 Chalceus macrolepidotus... but that could probably be a interesting complement... I will rethink about it. thanks

I figured it wouldn't be sufficient for all of your feeding needs, but more of a suppliment especially during the winter months. keep us posted on your progress!
 
a short update to tell you that :

1. my arowana (silver) got used to shrimps and pangasius bites ;) they grow quite fast and are doing well !

2. my Cichla kelberi don't get used to shrimps and pangasius bites :irked: they hardly accept something else than living food (guppies, flies) and deep frozen mosquito larvae... some of them grow quite fast (the ones who occasionnaly take bites of pangasius and shrimps) and some do not starve, but don't grow too fast :( Still have to work on it !

3. my Chalceus microlepidotus and Myleus schomburgkii are doing well ! they grow fast and eat anything I could provide them...

4. my Panaque schaeferi and Panaque L191 are just great in this tank, grow very well (never saw a Panaque grow from 5 to 8 inches in 4 months)

5. and finally, I found decent sized-priced-quality Potamotrygon leopoldi not too far from my area (3 hours car)... I'll get 2 females "leo x leo" and 1 male "leo x P14". Both are F1, around 6-8 inches. I'll get them in mid-March :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
