This is the BEST IDEA EVER! When i eventually build a ]V[onster sized tank, this will be incorporated into the design. Thanks for sharing this great idea :)
 
i am curently building a 600 gallon tank in my garage an think this is definately getting incorporated into the plans! i very rarely loose power and only once in 3 years i lived here has it been off more than a couple minutes. but when it does go out, wouldnt the extra water still flowing into the sump continue to just run out the drain tube? which i guess wouldnt hurt cause once power is back on the level will return to normal and the drip will slowly catch up to the amount lost right? genius idea!
