really nice fish, but please do not keep those silvers with the aus, there will be fighting, and i hope you have a much larger tank for them when they get bigger

Welcome to MFK! I'm looking forward to seeing these future monsters grow up! You may be right on being a super noob but I do hope you turn into an expert very fast! Your dream fish are hard to take care of and will cost a lot to do so.

Please tell us you have 100-200+ gallon tanks ready for them(at least)! :D

If not, there's going to be a lot of negative comments here... a LOT. I'm not exaggerating here, this is MFK.

We are here to help, you and the fish.

hey mate.. all the best with the aros.. do have a read at the stickies.. will give you almost all the info you need about taking care of the aros.. do keep spare tanks at hand.. cos even while they are small they will show signs of aggression and domination.. the jardini goin psycho really depends on the fish itself.. you gotta wait for a bit and see how it goes.. cheers.. all the best again..

I am keep looking for a bigger tank right now^^
Wow...I didnt know that I cant put jardini with silvers...because the guy who sold me the jardini said that was fine if i put them together.
He just told me that I have to have at least three aros in a tank if i want to get more than one.....
Actually, I only had one silver. the reason why i want to get two more is I don't want my silver gets drop eyes...
They r not fighting with each other so far, so do i still need to separate them?
Ill read all the stickies asap^^
Thank you guys for help~~!

Theres no rule that says you can't keep Silvers with Jardinis, but the chances of it working out are pretty slim because Jardini's are pretty aggressive. The guy who told you that tried to make some more money off of you by getting you to buy more. Try returning them. With DE, most Silvers are bound to get it, theres no known way for you to stop it from happening. If you don't like DE, you could keep the Jardini, they don't have the problem with DE that Silvers do. They might not fight now, but once they get a little bigger in that tank, they'll start. I don't think the Silvers would survive the Jardini. Good luck with your decision.

Basically, either go with the jardini if you don't mind it going solo or go with arowanas if you want a community tank and don't mind the drop eye that they most likely will get.

Good luck!
