youre welcome...
its hard..i know...
i have a hard time thinking about him....but i have to be strong..i knew that day was going to come...
it just seems like it happened so fast...

i know the day is coming too.. but it will be slow..and long.. i want her around ..but i hate the long haul if i have to see her suffer.. Its all bad...every pet we love leaves a void.. and makes you feel helpless.. but got to try.. thanks..get another dobie puppy..

Beautiful dobie and sorry for your lost...I lost my blue male right before I moved back to FL from Socal...I bought him from Fl when I moved to socal and would had paid to bring him back to RIP in FL where he was born...it killed me for days after he passed...he died as a true doberman, defended the car while the tech came out to bring him in, very sad and proud moment =)...he had cancer and was 11 yrs old...

i sympathize for you =) they are in my opinion the best breed!!!

OP: lovely dogs just wonderful! he looked very happy and loved and that is all we can do!

Red Devil, i know what your going threw..not with a dobie but my old Blue heeler had breast cancer twice, once at age 9 and once at age 13, she had all rows of mammary glans removed and went on to a month before her 16th birthday...we switched her to soft food and it was when that huge recall came threw :( we lost her to kidney failure.

We miss her allot but she came threw the Breast Cancer for us..it was a hard path that she was a trooper threw!
they do pull threw it just keep your head up and pour on the love!.

good luck and I hope it turns out for the best.

i am sorry you lost your beloved pet to the recall food.. that is just awful.. to gain and go through all that and then to lose over the food.. i cannot do anything for my dobie except hope that the breast cancer grows out instead of in.. the vet said he would remove 4 breasts but due to liver disease she would not make it through an operation.. so my only resort was to give her a great diet and try to stretch time.. i home cook it all now because the liver needs no fat or toxins etc.... but i can tell she is eating only whats she wants now.. sometimes i have to cook up chicken then rice then eggs then turkey and sweet potato .. and keep trying to get her into something.. tonight she ate the turkey right away.. so that was good..but this after noon she threw up the lunch of boiled chicken.. so i am on egg shells sometimes.. but over all she acts the same.. runs and plays.. barks..a pain in the butt.. haha.. love her..thank you!

thats tough... especially that he was up and fighting.. so freaking sad.. i have been through it before..love the dobies...they are so smart and loyal.. i will always have a dobie.. i love my collie too.. i love them all.. i would have more if hubby would be willing..lol..alot of different breeds... .but the dobie is the one who will protect you no matter what.. i feel good with her near me .. and she wants to be near me.. so it is mutual.....No other dog is obsessed with its owner.. like the dobes.. all heart and soul..
