Anyone into kung fu movies??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah,Bruce Lee was said to be going to start working on a film of that type before he died.

Bruce was working on Game of Death when he died. The movie was pieced together horribly after he passed. Reading about the movie, it should have been epic!! The intended cast included just about every single one of my favorite kungfu actors, Sammo Hung, Lam Ching Ying, Yuen Biao, Lau Kar Wing, Fung Hark-On, Danny Inosanto, even Jackie Chan! With a line up like that, Bruce would have really had to step things up, no 1-2 knock out scenes. We really could have seen what Bruce could do. Bummer it never happened.

Yeah I know about the Game of Death and how it was made but the proposed or supposed movies that he posed in those costumes for would have been interesting to say the least.

thanks fatcat

i have seen clips of where he fights the old man and pulling the knife on him. but i have never seen the end where he beats up the 3 kids. that was very cool to see. thanks

missing tooth young bruce is hilarious

ok, so i watched the movie last friday evening. It's called Young Bruce Lee but on my cover it's called Bruce Lee: My Brother

I give it 2 stars out of 5. so yea, it was a bit disappointing but it was enjoyable. I think the guy didn't really do that good of a job playing the role, but that may not have been all his fault. He had some moments where he did really well but that was it. The movie was a lot slower than I expected and it felt like there was too much details to fit into a short film and because of that, to me, the story didn't flow. basically the movie is a recollection of his brother and other family members and friends. It focused pretty much on things prior to his move back to the US. Mainly about his friends, his acting career and his family. Not nearly enough fighting which was the biggest disappointment.

it was awesome at the end where they put photos that the characters in the movie took next to the real actual photos.

funniest thing to me was, his parents looks the same from when he was a kid, all the way to when he is a teen, they don't age at all, lol

hmm.. Well, that's the way it goes with kung fu movies. The stuff you're sure you will love turns out kind of bland, and the stuff that comes out of left field turns out great. Another thing is, a lot of the times you have to see the movie multiple times to take it all in. If anything, it's something to add to your collection, I'm guessing you got a great deal? Right now I'm on the fence about ordering "Warriors Two." It's a Sammo Hung movie, I've heard it's one of the best Wing Chun movies ever made, but new from Amazon it's $49.99 so you can see why I'm apprehensive about ordering.
