linsanity! :D

x2

Totally amazing. It's exciting to watch the knicks again!!!

Jeremy Lin is the real deal. Scored more than Kobe to win the game.

Linsanity is making the Knicks an exciting team to watch. I'm a lifelong Lakers fan, but seeing the way Lin carved up the Lakers and outplayed Kobe almost the entire night was really fun to watch. He's the best story in the NBA this year so far. I like how some people are calling him "Yellow Mamba" haha.

hes certainly fun to watch...that LAKERS beatdown was pretty impressive..makes me want to pay attention to the NBA again

Yeah he's great for everybody, and a great inspiration (especially to all the NERDS in the world, LOL). This guy is so Unselfish, it has made a lot of former NBA fans come back and watch the game. There's no Im Superman, or pointing to his name, and the media trys to talk about him but all he does is give credit to his teammates.

If anything lets give this kid some credit...after all he's never claimed to be the best or anything but BLESSED to be living his dream.

He's an inspiration to all underdogs and every Asian guy who's ever wanted to be a baller (guys like me). The more I read about him, the more impressed I am at how successful he's become recently. I read that at Harvard during basketball games, fans from other teams and even opposing teams would call him chinky and other racial slurs. But he never reacted badly to it. He just kept ballin' and waiting for his chance to prove his skills.

When he signed with the Knicks a couple months ago, Knicks fans made fun of him too and hardly anyone took him seriously. Check this out -- every comment below has something to do with his race:

I think he's great and I hope he keeps scorching fools on the court to inspire all the other underdogs out there.

Being a warriors fan, its really hard to watch him do really well on another team, but I'm still happy for him. I have to admit, I don't believe that he'll be a star. If given an opportunity, players can get hot. He's just a case of perfect timing. The more exposure he gets, the harder it will get for him, and the more he will struggle.

Exactly how I feel all this "yellow mamba" nonsense is for the fans I mean a month our two of great basketball will not make you a star he's good but it's alot easier to get off when no one knows you.. as far as him being an inspiration Idk .. I just dont see how one month of decent basketball makes you a star.. But if you can grasp inspiration from it.... great lol

Come on man, you gotta be kidding me. Lin has averaged 27.2 points a game since he became a starter. He's put up 28 against Deron Williams (Nets All-Star), 38 against the Lakers (with 2 7-footers), and 23 and 10 assists against John Wall (#1 overall pick). All of those guys should know how to defend him without looking at much tape. They're either All-Stars or people rated a lot more highly than JLin.

This argument that he's doing so well because people haven't seen much about him really doesn't give him enough credit. People haven't seen much tape about Andrew Goudelock or any other guy in the league who doesn't get much playing time. How come they're not burning the Lakers for 38 points?

In tonight's game vs. Toronto, he had 27 points and 11 assists. He also hit the game winning 3 pointer at the end. He's been the biggest story of the NBA and you're saying coaches aren't prepared to stop him? No way. They can't stop him. The fact that he's been able to do this consistently means he's got skills. I don't think you can say he's having a lucky month either, unless you want to say he's been having the luckiest month in NBA history.

Here's a story about tonight's game:

And here's a video of him hitting that sick buzzer-beating, game-winning 3. Look at this shot and tell me it's all luck.

If he does it for a season or two I will be convinced... Bobbie gibson basically beat the pistons... The good ones he averaged like 30 on them.. puttin up numbers in the nba has got to be hard and he has talent... people without it dont make it to the nba but I still think it's to early to call him a star if he can do it consistently then yea but until then I can't see it...
