yup. I would prioritize on getting that bigger tank first.

He's gonna most likely kill any tank mate you put in there.

i think a shovelnose should be good. they are pretty aggressive themselves...

the tank is a 55 gallon at the moment but looking for a 180-300 gallon off craigslist everyday LOL.

Nether a180 or a 300 are going to hold these fish for long at 1 year my tsn was 28" 4 months later he's over 30" and in a 1400gal pond if your not ready to do that get the lima

I see, you'd be better off asking whether or not you can keep tank mates with a jardini. Odds are Jimmy16 comments are the most likely to be true of all posted in this thread.

he came from a pet store community tank and was doing fine for weeks... i know they get aggressive as they get older but i'll see if it can work... thanks for the head up and responses guys!! much appreciated
