what's your worst purchase

Ok another horrible purchase I made was a jaguar cichlid. I got this fish when I had just bought a bunch of fancy like $40+ fish. So I get all these fish and I go back to see what new fish the petco has and I see a jaguar cichlid alone in a 50 gallon tank with a price tag under it for $30 I love how this fish looks and I buy him. I take him home and acclimate him and I finally drop him in the tank. I keep all the lights off for reduced stress and I go to sleep. I wake up to feed all the fish and all I see is one 3" jaguar cichlid swimming alone. I look everywhere in the tank and no where to be found is my $500 fish stock I had in there. All of the fish were small to medium sized fish around 1"-3" I should have done research!

I continue to do the water change with my hand in the water moving plants and all of a sudden this fish just leaps up and bites me on my upper arm! It left a mark! So I was scared of this little vicious monster and he eventually passed on and I promised to myself never to by creepy little clearance fish ever again! Worst buy ever

That's the thing it didn't say what species but I think it was some sort of cichlid

Upside down Catfish yea their cool but i never get to see them...should grill em up:drool: instead of keeping them lol ;)
 
Probably my largemouth bass. He was great till he hit 12" in my 75 gallon. Then he beat the s*** out of all my fish. Now he's just about bit the tail off my 13" Florida gar. I'll probably through him back in my pond come around summer time.

Buying large Green Terror Cichlid 3 separate times. So beautiful each time and it never works out. LOL
