I know betta fish don't get alone but what if i keep one male and a female betta in a 75g gallon, given the large area to swim, will the male still chase female to death?

It should work, a 75g is a lot of room for them, just be sure to provide plenty of hiding places and plants
I plan not to add decors, and no aquatic plants. Only substrate and about 10"/21" high of water.
Yes this would easily work you can also put many other fish in their with them and you can probably keep two males and four females in a tank this size or if you don't want to risk it try one male and four or two females don't get just one or she will probably be overbred with and die

I don't believe this will work with no decor try getting some cheap caves and stuff or get a bunch of large rocks and make many hiding spots but don't try with no decor one will die

Why no plans to add decors and aquatic plants? If you don't have them, female most likely will die...Also, the decor and plants will make them feel like they're in their natural environment...
I have no divider in the 8 gallon or the 2 gallon LED betta kit with my other male and female
