Oh and why do you need a custom made lid? You can buy some pretty cheap ones on this website, http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3781
It'd probably be a lot cheaper to just buy one off this website then to get a custom sheet of glass made
My glass lid split in two where it folds when you lift it up, I just siliconed it back in place but I don't know if thats your case also or if your glass actually busted

You really think it'd be over $20(price online for about my size) to get a small sheet of glass custom cut?

Possibly, lol...wouldn't you want one with a handle and a plastic back strip though?
Funny, mine bit me last week while I was feeding. I got him to hand feed when he was 3", now at 5" he gets too excited and bites my finger instead. Pretty funny but still startles me when it happens (he jumps with excitement)
Hahah, mine does that too! When he sees food he doesn't really jump...but kind of half-jumps.

I don't really know much about the different kind of lids. I already have the black handle strip thingy, so could just get a big piece cut 3/4 of the way up, and put the black thing on there. If that makes any sense
