Actually from wut i understand this was just another random surprise test. 6 others were tested and ao is the only one whose test exceeded 10:1 over the limit. 6:1 is the legal limit. The others tested passed. No word from ao or his camp yet as far as i know, but there's no way he can explain this one. Only card they can play now is to point blame or make excuses. I read on another forum that mir is fighting jr, cain faces bigfoot and country faces mitrione. I'm not overly excited but i guess thats the best they can do with wut they got to play with. I say mir gets ko'd inside rd 1

He's been tested so much lately and came up fine and he knew he would b tested again I don't see how he could mess up. It probably wasnt a needle. Testing high on testosterone isnt exactly the same thing as shooting anabolic steroids. This whole testosterone thing is wonky.

I don't condone it, but there are more fighters using illegal substances than we know. Some are just better at it then others at cycling out the illegal stuff from their system. Overeem apparently was good at it but this was a surprise test. I will be really pissed if this fight gets scratched. Someone could get a free title match since imo there is no #1 contender. If ao is out, I'd rather shelf the champ and let cain/frank take the main event. But that's easy for me to say, sucks for jr since he already spent the money, effort and time for a full training camp

You dont think cane velasquez deserves a shot, and frank has had a ton of failed shots. I think he got ripped cause his title fight was a cbs broadcast it was ended intentaniously i never saw a title fight stop so abruptly without being sure the champ was done he was hit and it was over usually you really gotta beat a champ to take his belt id like to see a tiyle fight. It is sad abou overdeem cause ufc heavyweight div is weak and always has been

Let me break it down for you. I stand by what i said, imo there's no clear #1 contender which is what blows about the situation. If I'm jr, I'm pissed at ao, screwed it up for me. Taking from me a fight that will launch my status if i win

Now looking at it from the ufc pov and a business pov, you have to go with mir. Cain not only loss to jr, he loss in decisive fashion. No contraversy, no close fight, no back and forth war, no bad judging. When u lose like that, u don't get an immediate rematch nor do people wanna see it too soon. U gotta work your way up again. Now here's mir coming of an amazing sub, he's a new opponent for jr, he's on a little streak, former champ, jr gets a chance to fight a guy that took out his sensei. It makes the most sense to go with mir. No hw deserves a title match right now so u go with the most deserving outta the group when u consider everything

I wish somehow we can shelf jr until the other hw fights play out but its too late for that.

BUT, if i go with who is more deserving between cain and mir based on skill and history alone, and who would stand a better chance of beating the champ, i say cain. I think mir gets ko'd by cain inside 2 rds. Mirs only chance of beating cain or jr is by catching them in a sub.

Oh and one more thing, cain was out in the jr fight. No way was there any contraversy. That fight was done. Cain went limp, he didn't make excuses, we shouldn't either

I m not arguing but if that wasn a ppv cain would a caught a few more g n p shots before they called it as iv seen so many times, thats what i mean about beating the champ, a couple of seconds more he could have possobly regained himself, if not at least i woulda got a couple of extra seconds of fight to watch. Personally iv liked jr since the begining and i think he deserves it. But i agree with te last post good breakdown of the situation

No i hear you. At first i felt the same but the replay showed that the fight was over. I'm ok with the stoppage. But i wouldve been ok with letting jr throw 1 or 2 more punches too. Some refs stops it sooner than others. Reffing is one of the hardest jobs. U stop too soon people want your heart on a stake, u stop too late they say you're not fit to do the job. U make a bad call in the heat of the moment they wanna hang u upsidedown and flog you. Remember, refs make calls as they see in the moment, they don't have the luxury like us and get slow mo instant replay. I really hope they go that route soon, instant replays and the refs ability to change his call.

But back about jr, he and us fans are the ones screwed. With ao out, if jr gets cain and wins, people will say well, he already beat him, if he gets mir and beats him, people will say well mir didn't deserve to be there in the first place.
