well, that's within the 1" per gallon rule right?
And don't take it to heart F1, I think everybody is glad you're saving these guys. It's just that when you say it's the worst/dirtiest tank you've seen, that's a pretty high bar to reach.
Curious to see the results of your test.
It would be within the 1" rule if the tank was full, but he should only be housing 40" of fish in that tank in it's current setup.
Eat the rtc, they taste great. Keep the pleco. And get rid of the oscar. $300 is way to much. Pretty rtc tho
i agree with you. Ive noticed people posting on aquarium forums are very over dramatic about these kinds of things.
I can understand if hes a kid on a bujet and its the only size tank he can get, but he should look at fish that will be alittle more suitable for the size tank he has. My sister got a rtc and then afew days later comming back from the zoo and seeing one at 4 foot she took him back haha
Cuz currently theres 2 other oscars of the same size in the tank so im guestemating!! Im only saving the rtc cuz he wants outrageous prices for them all and i personally dont prefer oscars nor does my friend w/ the pond. Hopefully there isnt much damage to him
And in 2 months theyd all grow another 2-4"

And i never said it was the worst tank ive ever seen, i said it was the dirtiest 55 ive ever seen and it is. Im sure itll be worse in person...
