balling, I dont know about you but at 17 I could kick my butt now at twenty six.
Face it, MOST 17 year olds are in peak physical shape. Also Martin was said to be six ft two which is pretty large. He wasnt a "kid" by any means in terms of physical size and could EASILY have killed Zimmerman with his bare hands and that is why self defense could be a legitimate defense. Im not saying Martin did or did not attack Zimmerman, all I am saying is that IF he did he would pose a very real and deadly threat to the much smaller and frankly out of shape Zimmerman.

You're talking physical size, I'm talking maturity. Martin was a beanstalk if you're going that route. Zimmerman outweighted him by 70+. Martin was almost my exact size at that age
My stance is this minor by age should not have died at the hands of neighborhood watch. Race should be left out of it. Both thier past should be left out of it. The only things that matter are the events of that night.I think we all agree on those points. No need to make it a race war

race should be left out of it, but he clearly tells the 911 operator that he is black. Why give that info if it didnt affect his actions? I dont get it. I hope they get to the bottom of it all.
It would've been had Zimmerman been arrested and held. It became an online media crusade and then the media picked it up later. Not the other way around

But what IF Martin attacked Zimmerman? If a large thirteen year old assualted me and was beating my head in on the sidewalk - again Im saying IF this happened in this case - I would do what ever it takes to prevent major harm to myself and that would include firing my weapon. Age doesnt matter. You are assuming that Martin did nothing at all and not even considering the fact that Martin MAY have assualted Zimmerman. Are you not?
The 911 operator operator asked Zimmerman the suspects race to which Martin replied, "he looks black." To me that means Zimmerman couldnt even be 100 percent sure Martin was black therefor race had ZERO factor in this case.
I also want to add that even if Z confronted M first and even if Z did it in a not so polite way and IF M assualted Z first then Z has a legit claim of self defense. Just because you are being a jerk to some one doesnt give the person the right to assualt the jerk.
