well....martin had a hoodie on, so again, i don't think race factors in at all. could've happen to anyone.

So, regardless of if martin attacked zimmerman we've still got a neighborhood watch guy doing more then just watching. he thinks he's the police now? he put himself in this situation and will pay the price. i would LOVE to know what happen but i have no idea and am not taking sides. i'm just annoyed with OMG, THEY'RE TARGETING BLACK PEOPLE! I DON'T FEEL SAFE ANYMORE! puhleaze, as a black male, i don't feel any different then i did before it happen. wrong place, wrong time, wrong ending.

i can sympathize with the family though. that's ROTTEN to lose a son or family member in that way.
 
Legally a neighborhood watch guy can do what ever you and I could do. Trust me if a sketchy looking character, and I would say some one that I didnt recognize walking in my neighborhood with a hood up covering their face especially here in Florida is sketchy looking, most people in my neighborhood would ask the person what they are doing there. I would too.

It is not illegal to confront anyone walking down the street in your neighborhood an ask what they are doing just like Zimmerman may have done so the fact Z was the captain of his NW has no bearing on what happened. What I THINK may have happened is that Z confronted M and was a jerk about it. Then one of the two escalated it to a physical confrontation which led to deadly force being used. If the facts prove Zimmerman was not the one who started the physical confrontation then he SHOULD be let free. If he did start getting physical first then his claim of self defense is null and void and should be prosecuted though I do think 2nd degree murder is pretty stout. Heck muggers whove killed their victims get charged with that and I dont think Z went out that day with the intent to harm or kill anyone in any way.

Many people say, "well the dispatcher told Zimmerman not to pursue." First off the dispatcher told Z that they didnt NEED him to pursue. Second a dispatcher has no legal authority to tell some one what to do or not do. Like I stated above, pursuing and even confronting someone is not illegal anyhow.
 
I do respect you for not playing into the race game that the media and even perhaps the President and AG are trying to play. Many people of color can only see that a non black man killed a black man and that it must have been because of race.
 
What I find most surprising about the story, who knew Arizona made a grapeade flavor? I can't find it around here!

Not enough black people around here to sale it to I guess. Good thing I got grape kool aide!

Dont be TOO black now. haha Im originally from Alabama and it took moving to Kentucky to realize that grape flavored soda really wasnt called purple drink, or as we call it, "purple drank."

I still from time to time buy me a case of grapico. Whats funny is that I generally dont like any other grape flavored things like candy and what not.

Just because you bought skittles and tea doesnt mean you didnt feel "disrespected" and decided to kick some fat out of shape neighborwatch mans butt because he questioned why you were in his gated community because he didnt recognize you.
